How it all got started
The Back Story
In 2023 a friend of mine and professional bull fighter was severely injured by a metal bell hitting him in the eye and ending his bull fighting career. The problem was brought to my attention, and I recognized the issue in the industry with metal bells and began searching for a better alternative. A year later the LicaBell was developed, a strong, durable, softer rubber bell that has all the same functionalities with less risk to those inside and outside the rodeo arena.

Time to cause a stir! Metal bells get smashed with use and lose the capability of ringing. They also develop sharp edges that could cause severe injury to bull fighters, livestock, bull riders, and even spectators.

The LicaBell is a soft, durable, and tear-resistant rubber, weighing 1.1lbs and 5.5" tall. Its narrow profile facilitates rope adjustment for riders, with reinforcement around the hole for strength. A traditional metal bell weighs 15oz.
